If you've read some of comicdom's most celebrated supernatural western series Desperadoes, but not all of it---or if you've read the whole thing but want to own it all in a single action-packed volume, the time has finally come. IDW Publishing has just released Desperadoes: Omnibus, containing every Desperadoes story published since its 1997 debut, complete with a new introduction by yours truly.
The artists represented here are John Cassaday, John Severin, John Lucas, Jeremy Haun, and Alberto Dose. Their work is uniformly brilliant. The writing ain't bad, either, if I may be so immodest. True West magazine picked 2007's miniseries, Buffalo Dreams, as the best western comic of the year--and if they'd been picking best western comics before that, I have to believe other minis might have made the grade.
Anyway, you can see for yourself. The book's not expensive, and if you love horror, westerns, or both, you've got to have a copy. It's in better comic shops everywhere, and of course you can buy it online at the link up there.
