Living outside of town is different from living in the city. Turns out even inside small towns, there are some major differences. One seems to be that in small towns, billboards don’t change quite as often as in the city.
Case in point: I took this picture today. This is one of two billboards in town promoting participation in the 2000 Census. No, that’s not a typo—2000.
You’d think they might update them for 2010, but it doesn’t appear that they’re going to.
And in case the picture is too small, the slogan is "It's Not Too Late. Make Yourself Count!"
