Thanks for posting that. I didn't know what a comic book pitch looks like. A few months ago, I sent a proposal to Dark Horse for a comic and carefully followed their sample script, but they never responded.

Are pitches used more than sample scripts?

If a publisher posts specific submission guidelines, it's always best to follow those.  The GARRISON pitch was made to an editor at WildStorm who I knew, and I wasn't coming in as an unknown quantity (and even at that he asked me to reformat it somewhat to fit their style--the one posted is the original version, which has more detail).


So I don't know if there's a "more" or "less," it's all up to what any given publisher wants to see.  Best of luck with your next one!
