Ah, the irony of water-hording climate change deniers ... the next super-precious resource... or wasn't that what you meant?
"All those tea partiers may or may not realize it, but they're carrying water for billionaires who wouldn't let them in the back doors of their mansions."

Marsheila (Marcy) Rockwell

"He also pledged to 'never use a look alike to replace my (The Office’s) message to you or to anyone else, as both the other Republican Challengers have.'"

Not sure that's as comforting as he thinks it is...

Jeff Mariotte

The next major war may well be fought over water. If we don't so something about climate change, it could come sooner than we think.

Jeff Mariotte

I don't think there's anything that loon could say that would be comforting.

Shades of "The Last Rainmaking Song..."

You might find Marc Reisner's Cadillac Desert an interesting read (not sure if we've talked about it before). Water is going to be a battleground with or without climate change.

Jeff Mariotte

I have read it--it's one of my go-to western water resources. Water will always be an issue, especially in the southwest. Population growth is a huge factor, but climate change is going to exacerbate an already unsustainable pattern.

Marcy

It's also a staple of the southwestern water resource engineer's technical library. Great book.

Jeff Mariotte

It really is.
