March 1 is the official publication date for the paperback edition of 7 SYKOS, by Marsheila Rockwell and me. It's already available in some stores, and should be more widely available after tomorrow (new books generally land in bookstores on Tuesday). That said, if you don't see it in a bookstore, please ask for it. Nothing convinces bookstores to stock a book like knowing the people standing in front of the counter with cash in their pockets are looking for it.
Of course, you can buy it online, too--but it's good for a book to be seen in the stores (and to sell in the stores). And the online merchants still sell the minority of books, so bookstore exposure is vitally important.
7 SYKOS picked up a great review this week from the Fresh Fiction site. The conclusion? "Psychopaths versus zombies—seriously, how could any horror fan resist this plot? There's gore galore and Marsheila Rockwell and Jeffrey J. Mariotte throw some nasty twists at the readers. I'm generally able to predict what will happen next in a zombie story but there's no predicting when you throw psychopaths into that mix! 7 SYKOS is an in-your-face horror novel that grabs you by the throat and holds you hostage until you've turned every last page."
Marcy and I will be at the Tucson Festival of Books on the beautiful University of Arizona campus, March 12-13. Most of the time you can find us at Booth #108 (the Dreams Convention booth)--and we'll have copies of 7 SYKOS, in addition to lots of other books, which you can buy from us and get signed. Marcy's doing a tent talk at one of the Author Pavilion tents, about which more details are forthcoming. And I'm doing two panels, as detailed here:
On April 2 from 1-3 PM, we'll be signing 7 SYKOS at the terrific Bisbee Books & Music, in historic, mile-high Bisbee, AZ.
And whether you see us in Bisbee or Tucson or on some other occasion, be sure to congratulate us, because as of Valentine's Day 2016, we're officially engaged! We'll be married in the presence of a few of our close friends in Tucson on April 23. Need a gift? Buy our book!
